This paper examines the embedded issue framings shared between political parties and supporters by examining relevant YouTube videos contents in the context of the 2024 European Parliament Election. It used NodeXL, analytical software for conducting quantitative content analysis. The methods of this research consist of threefold frequency analysis, sentiment analysis, and semantic network analysis. Frequency analysis helps in examining emerging keywords emphasized by each political camp. Sentiment analysis reveals how political parties either neutrally or intentionally approach their voters. Semantic network analysis visually presents issue framings presented by camps and political parties. The results show that the issues regarding left-wing parties mainly consist of various events such as international partnerships and social solidarity through framing, while the issue framing of right-wing parties consists of a unified emphasis on security issues for dealing with regional crises, maintaining regional integration, and democracy. In conclusion, it could be suggested that the rise of far-right parties may be attributed to voter interest in a unified agenda directly related to their safety rather than a range of issues, ultimately influencing the voters.

이 연구는 2024년 유럽의회 선거와 관련하여 유튜브에서 진영별 정당과 지지자들이 공유한 이슈와 그 프레이밍을 탐구한다. 본 연구는 NodeXL 소프트웨어를 활용하여유럽의회의 각 정당명을 키워드로 유튜브 동영상을 수집하고 데이터를 구축하였다. 분석 방법으로는 세 가지 양적 내용 분석법을 도입하였다. 먼저 빈도분석을 통해 진영별로 중심적으로 두드러진 키워드를 파악하였고, 감성 분석을 통해 유권자들이 중립적 또는 의도적으로 접근하는지 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 의미연결망 분석을 통해 진영별 및 정당별로 어떤 이슈 프레이밍이 제시되는지 시각화하여 직관적으로 결과를 제시하였다. 연구결과, 좌파정당과 관련된 이슈 프레이밍은 주로 국제 파트너십과 사회 연대와 같은 다양한 이슈로 나타나지만, 우파정당은 지역 위기, 통합, 민주주의에 대한 안보 사안으로 단일화된 이슈 프레이밍으로 강조되는 경향을 보였다. 결론적으로, 극우 세력의 부상 이면에는 유권자들이 다양한 이슈보다는 안전과 직결되는 단일화된 의제에 더욱 관심을 가지며, 이 관심이 표심으로 이어진다는 점을 시사할 수 있다.
