The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of job skill level on overall job satisfaction among wage-employed people with disabilities and to verify the mediating effect of self-efficacy between these two variables. For this, data from the second wave of the 6th survey of the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (conducted in 2021) by the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled were used. Out of the 3,848 respondents, 1,606 who answered ‘yes’ to the question ‘Are you continuously working?’ were selected as the final subjects of the study. The analysis method used hierarchical regression analysis, and to analyze the mediating effect, the step-by-step analysis method by Baron and Kenny (1986) and the Sobel test were used to confirm the significance of the mediating effect. The results confirmed that the job skill level had an impact on overall job satisfaction mediated by self-efficacy, and the mediating effect was significant. The results of the Sobel test showed that self-efficacy had a statistically significant influence on both direct and indirect effects. Through these results, policy and practical measures were proposed to expand employment-related education and training programs to improve the overall job satisfaction of wage-employed people with disabilities.

본 연구의 목적은 임금근로장애인의 직업능력 수준이 전반적 직무만족에 미치는 영 향을 살펴보고 두 변수 간에 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한 국장애인고용공단 고용개발원에서 실시한 장애인고용패널조사 2차 웨이브 6차 조사 (2021년 실시)의 원자료 3,848명 가운데 ‘지속적으로 일을 하고 있다.’는 문항에 [네]라 고 응답한 1,606명이 최종 연구 대상이다. 분석 방법은 위계적 회귀분석을 활용하였고, 매개효과를 분석하기 위해 베론과 케니(1986)의 단계적 분석 방법과 Sobel test를 통해 매개효과의 유의성을 확인하였다. 검증 결과 직업능력 수준은 자기효능감을 매개로 전 반적 직무만족에 영향을 미쳤으며 매개효과가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. Sobel test 결 과 자기효능감은 직.간접효과의 영향력이 나타나 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 확인되 었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 임금근로장애인의 전반적 직무만족을 높일 수 있는 취업 관 련 교육 및 연수프로그램 확대 등 정책적 실천적 방안을 제시하였다.
