This paper classified and reviewed 12 types of yeonhaengjabgi(燕行雜記), the Chinese character performance records of Hong, Dae-yong(洪大容). The main version of yeonhaengJabgi is largely divided into a series of rewritten versions and a series of Damheonseo(湛軒書). Among them, the rewritten version is divided into Yeonhwi(燕彙) series and Damheonyeongi(湛軒燕記) series. The series of Damheonyeongi has various signatures. This includes yeonhaengJabgi, yeongi(燕記), and Damheonyeonhaenggi(湛軒燕行記). These copies are a series that has a direct influence on the yeongi of the Damheonseo series. Hong, Yang-hoo(洪良厚), a descendant of Hong(洪) Hong Dae-yong, compiled the collection of Hong Dae-yong’s writings, Damheonseo. The copies of yeonhaengJabgi in the series of Damheonseo were included in this edition. Eventually, it became yeongi in the series of Damheonseo. By comparing the contents of each version, we can infer the correlation and antecedent relationship between the yvons.
