This study aims to validate the Korean version of the Suicide Screening Questions (K-ASQ) for the rapid assessment of suicide risk among children and adolescents. To achieve this, data were collected through an online survey from 356 children and 533 adolescents who had experienced trauma at some point in their lives. The analysis revealed that the internal consistency of the Korean version of the ASQ was acceptable, with Cronbach's alpha coefficients of .71 for children and .60 for adolescents. Concurrent validity was established through significant positive correlations with existing validated measures related to suicide, as well as measures of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was conducted to examine the factor structure, revealing a unidimensional factor structure. Furthermore, a comparative analysis of mean differences between groups identified as positive and negative for suicide risk using the Korean ASQ indicated that the positive risk group exhibited significantly higher levels of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study are discussed.

본 연구에서는 아동 청소년의 자살 위험을 신속하게 평가하기 위한 선별 도구로 Horowitz 등(2012)이 개발한 자살 선별 도구(ASQ)를 한국판으로 타당화하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 이를 위해 일생 중 트라우 마 경험이 있는 아동 356명과 청소년 533명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석 결과, 한국판 ASQ의 내적 일치도는 아동 .71, 청소년 .60으로 수용 가능한 수준으로 나타났다. 자살과 관련된 기존 타당화된 도구와 우울, 불안, 및 PTSD 척도와 상관 분석을 실시한 결과 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타나 공존타당도가 확보되었다. 그리고 요인구조를 확인하고자 탐색적 요인분석을 실시 한 결과 단일 요인 구조가 확인되었다. 마지막으로 한국판 ASQ를 통해 자살 위험 양성으로 판정된 집단과 음성으로 판정된 집단 간 평균 차이 분석을 실시한 결과 자살 위험 양성 집단인 경우 우울, 불안, PTSD 관련 증상이 유의미하게 높은 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 한계에 대하여 논의하였다.
