This study aimed to validate the Korean version of the How I Think Questionnaire (HIT-Q), which measures self-serving cognitive distortions in adolescents. A sample of 307 adolescents aged 14-20 years (155 males, 152 females) completed online surveys and completed the Korean version of the HIT-Q and the Maladaptive Thought Scale Adolescent (MTSA), Korean Adolescent's Dysfunctional Schemas Questionnaire (K-DSQ), and Aggression Questionnaire-Korean Version (AQ-K). Exploratory factor analysis revealed a two-factor structure for the Korean HIT-Q, comprising antisocial attitudes and distrust/hostility towards others. The Korean HIT-Q demonstrated generally good levels of internal consistency reliability (.86 to .94) and test-retest reliability (.68 to .78). The Korean HIT-Q showed significant correlations in the range of .53 to .84 with maladaptive thoughts, dysfunctional cognitive schemas, and aggression, and significantly predicted the subscales of the aggression measure. These findings suggest that the Korean version of the HIT-Q has sound psychometric properties.

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 자기합리화적 인지왜곡을 측정하 는 How I Think Questionnaire(HIT-Q)를 한국어로 번안하고 타당화하는 것이다. 이를 위해 만 14-20세 청소년 307명을 대 상으로 한국어로 번안한 HIT-Q와 부적응적 사고 척도, 역기능 적 인지도식 척도, 공격성 척도를 실시하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 을 실시한 결과, 한국판 HIT-Q는 반사회적 태도, 타인에 대한 불신 및 적대적 태도로 구성된 2요인 구조를 보였다. 내적일치도 는 .86 ~.94이었고 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 .68~.78로 양호한 수 준으로 나타났다. 한국판 HIT-Q는 부적응적사고, 역기능적 인지 도식, 공격성과 .53~.84의 범위에서 유의한 상관을 보였으며, 공 격성 척도의 하위 요인을 유의미하게 예측하였다. 이러한 결과는 한국판 HIT-Q가 청소년들의 자기합리화적 인지왜곡을 측정하는 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도임을 시사한다.
