This study analyzed the impact of uniform components on uniform satisfaction and departmental attachment among aviation service majors in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. The research examined the influence of three key components—symbolism, aesthetics, and functionality—on uniform satisfaction and departmental attachment. Data collection was conducted through an online survey from March 15 to May 17, 2024, with 178 valid samples analyzed. The results showed that the symbolism, aesthetics, and functionality of uniforms positively influenced uniform satisfaction, with symbolism having the most significant impact. Additionally, it was found that functionality and symbolism significantly affected departmental attachment. Uniform satisfaction also played a positive role in increasing departmental attachment. This study confirmed that enhancing the design, functionality, and symbolism of uniforms can boost students' sense of belonging and pride, thereby improving their attachment to the department. These findings reaffirm the importance of uniforms and suggest ways to strengthen university competitiveness.

본 연구는 광주 및 전남 지역 항공서비스 전공자를 대상으로 유니폼 구성 요소가 유니폼 만 족도와 학과 애착도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구는 상징성, 심미성, 기능성이라는 세 가지 주요 구성 요소가 유니폼 만족도와 학과 애착도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 검토하였다. 자료 수집은 2024년 3 월 15일부터 5월 17일까지 온라인 설문조사를 통해 이루어졌으며, 총 178부의 유효 표본을 분석하였 다. 분석 결과, 유니폼의 상징성, 심미성, 기능성은 모두 유니폼 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 특 히 상징성의 영향이 가장 컸다. 또한 유니폼 구성 요소 중 기능성과 상징성이 학과 애착도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 유니폼 만족도 역시 학과 애착도를 높이는 데 긍정적인 역할을 하였 다. 이를 통해 유니폼의 디자인과 기능성을 강화하고, 상징성을 높이는 것이 학생들의 소속감과 자부심 을 증대시켜 학과 애착도를 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 유니폼의 중요성을 재확인하고, 대학의 경쟁력 강화 방안을 제시하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
