This study aims to examine the factors that influence the intention to switch to Open API Platform authentication technology using blockchain-based technology for businesses that utilize Open APIs such as my data and open banking. The purpose of this study is to understand whether users intend to switch from a platform that utilizes a commercial DBMS to a platform that utilizes blockchain as a means of storing Open API authentication to a new platform due to the ease of supporting blockchain technology, and how the switching costs incurred when switching to a new platform have a moderating effect on the existing platform and the new platform. To this end, we collected questionnaires from ICT (Information Communications Technology) companies with experience in using and maintaining Open API-related technologies and conducted statistical analysis. The results of the study are significant in that they provide an academic understanding of the factors that influence the intention to switch from DBMS to blockchain-based authentication storage when implementing API services utilizing various authentication methods in Open API platforms, and a practical direction for Open API Platform creators to consider the cost of switching to blockchain technology.

본 연구는 마이데이터, 오픈뱅킹 등 오픈 API를 활용한 업무에 블록체인(Blockchain) 기반 기술을 이용한 오픈 API 플랫폼 인증 기술 전환의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 고찰하기 위한 연구이다. 오픈API 인증을 저장하기 위한 수단으로 상용 DBMS 를 활용한 플랫폼에서 블록체인을 활용한 플랫폼으로 전환하고자 할때 블록체인 기술지원용이성으로 새로운 플랫폼으로 전환 하고자하는지, 또한 새로운 플랫폼으로 전환시 발생하는 전환비용이 기존 플랫폼과 신규 플랫폼에 어떠한 조절효과를 미치는 지 이해하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 오픈 API 관련 기술의 사용 및 유지보수 경험이 있는 ICT(정보통신기술, Information Communications Technology) 분야 종사자를 대상으로 설문을 수집하고 통계분석을 진행하였다. 연구 결과는 오 픈API 플랫폼의 다양한 인증 수단을 활용한 API 업무 구현시 인증 저장 수단을 DBMS에서 블록체인에 기반한 전환의도에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 학술적 이해와 특히 오픈API 플랫폼 제작자의 블록체인 기술 도입에 대한 전환비용을 감안한 실무 적 방향을 제시하였다는 점에 의의가 있다.
