Information has become a critical strategic asset in data governance, playing a pivotal role in decision-making processes. As a result, organizations are increasingly focused on ensuring the quality of information and implementing effective management and monitoring systems. This trend is evident not only in private sector services but also in public sector services. The quality of statistics provided to understand economic and social phenomena is crucial in meeting user needs. It is essential to assess how the provided information influences users' internal states and behavioral responses. In particular, quality management of approved statistics involves overseeing all activities to ensure that the produced data is suitable and satisfactory for users. However, research on the relationship between statistical quality and users' perceived internal states remains insufficient. This study aims to investigate the impact of information quality on user satisfaction and behavioral intention in government-approved statistics. The results showed that information quality had a positive effect on user satisfaction and behavioral intention. Furthermore, user satisfaction was found to mediate the relationship between information quality and behavioral intention. Specifically, we empirically examine the relationship between information quality, user satisfaction, and behavioral intention using from the “VR·AR Industry Survey,” a approved statistic. Based on the findings, this study proposes implications for improving the quality of approved statistics.

정보는 의사결정에 필수적이며, 데이터 거버넌스 측면에서 핵심 전략 자산으로 본다. 이로 인해 조직은 양질의 정보에 접근하기 위해 노력 하고 있고, 정보품질에 중점을 둔 관리 및 모니터링에 관심이 높다. 이러한 현상은 민간 서비스뿐만 아니라 정부 주도의 공공 서비스 영역에도 동일하게 적용된다. 경제·사회 현상을 파악하기 위해 제공되는 통계의 품질은 이용자의 요구사항에 적합한가를 측정하는 것이 핵심이 되며, 제공되는 정보가 이용자의 내적 상태와 행동 반응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 특히, 국가승인통계의 품질관리는 통계 이용자들이 사용하는데 적합하고, 만족하는 자료를 생산하고 있는지에 대한 모든 활동을 관리하는 것이다. 그러나, 통계품질과 이용자가 지각 한 내면의 상태와의 관계를 규명한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 국가승인통계의 정보품질이 이용자의 만족도 및 행동의도에 미치 는 영향 관계를 규명하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 국가승인통계인 “가상증강현실(VR·AR)산업 실태조사”를 활용하여 해당 통계 이용자를 대상으로 정보품질, 이용자 만족도, 행동의도 간의 관계를 실증하였다. 분석결과 정보품질은 이용자 만족도와 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치 는 것으로 나타났으며, 이용자 만족도는 정보품질과 행동의도 간의 관계에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구의 결과를 통해 승인통 계의 품질 제고를 위한 시사점을 제안하고자 한다.
