In November 2023, the signing of the South Korea-U.S. Security of Supply Arrangement (SOSA) marked a critical turning point in an era of increasing supply chain risks. While this agreement offers substantial benefits to the stakeholders involved, there is a lack of quantitative research on its effects. This study analyzes the impact of such supply agreements on supply chain efficiency using a mathematical model. The aim is to provide insights into how the agreement mitigates risks and enhances the profitability of participants in an uncertain supply chain environment. The analysis reveals that in a supply chain with two participants, the existence of a supply agreement leads to higher supply chain profits compared to when no such agreement is in place. The f indings of this study are expected to be useful for anal yzing the effects of various agreements related to supply chains.

2023년 11월, 한-미 공급망 안보 약정이 체결되며 공급망 리스크가 증가하는 시대에 중요한 전환점을 맞이했다. 이 약정 은 참여 주체들에게 큰 이익을 제공하지만, 그 효과에 대한 정량적인 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 이러한 공급약정이 공급망의 효율성에 미치는 영향을 수리모델을 활용하여 분석하였다. 이를 통해 불확실한 공급망 환경에서 약정이 어떻게 리 스크를 완화하고, 참여자들의 수익성을 향상시키는지에 대한 통찰을 제공하고자 한다. 분석 결과 참여자가 2명인 공급망 안 에서 참여 주체간 공급 약정이 존재하는 경우, 그렇지 않은 경우보다 더 높은 공급망 이윤이 발생하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과는 공급망과 관련한 다양한 약정의 효과를 분석하는데 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
