With the advent of the artificial intelligence (AI) era, the importance of teachers' digital literacy is growing. Accordingly, teacher training institutions are teaching AI to students who are not in computer education departments. In addition, AI is being actively studied in the field of education and is expected to be used for career guidance through AI technology. Therefore, this study analyzed changes in career guidance competency using AI to design AI-focused liberal arts classes for pre-service teachers and to verify the effectiveness of such education. The course was conducted over 15 weeks and aimed to foster understanding and utilization of AI in educational contexts. Students participated in various activities, including exploring case studies, designing lessons, and developing educational materials. As a result, the 24 students who completed the course showed a significant improvement in their career guidance competencies using AI compared to before taking the class. Future research should analyze additional variables to deepen the understanding of the effects of this approach.

인공지능 시대로 들어섬에 따라 교원의 디지털 리터러시가 중요해지고 있다. 그리하여 교사 양성 기관에서도 인공지능을 컴퓨터교육과가 아닌 학생들에게도 가르치고 있는 추세이다. 더불어, 인공지능은 교육적으로 활발히 연구되고 있는데, 인공지능 기술을 활용하여 진로를 지도하는 데 활용할 수도 있다. 이에, 본 연구는 예비교원을 대상으로 인공지능 선택 교양 수업을 수행하고 해당 교육의 효과를 확인하기 위해 인공지능을 활용한 진로지도 역량의 변화를 분석하였다. 해당 수업은 15주차로 인공지능 활용 및 이해 수업을 모두 이해할 수 있도록 설계하 였으며, 학생들은 다양한 수업 사례들을 체험하고 수업을 설계하며 수업 자료를 개발하였다. 본 인공지능 교육에 참여한 학생 24명은 교육 전에 비해 인공지능 활용 진로지도 역량이 유의하게 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 향 후 연구에서는 추가 변인에 대한 영향을 분석하여 심층 연구를 수행할 것을 제안한다.
