This study aimed to investigate the antibacterial effectiveness of various combinations of Saccharina japonica extract, Centella asiatica extract, and bamboo leaf extract at different concentrations as disinfectants. To achieve this, Saccharina japonica was extracted using distilled water, with 0.01M acetic acid serving as a control. The combination ratio was fixed at 1:1:1, while varying the concentrations of Chamaecyparis obtusa water and ethanol for the experiments. The antibacterial activity was assessed using the disk diffusion method with E. coli and S. aureus, measuring the diameter of the clear zone. The results indicated that after 20 hours, the highest antibacterial activity was found in the 0.01M acetic acid Saccharina japonica extract, with clear zones measuring 7.8 mm for S. aureus and 8.1 mm for E. coli. After 40 hours, this extract showed clear zones of 8.6 mm for both S. aureus and E. coli. These findings demonstrated that the combination of Saccharina japonica distilled water extract, Centella asiatica extract, and bamboo leaf extract in a 1:1:1 ratio, along with Chamaecyparis obtusa water at 82% and ethanol at 15%, exhibited antibacterial activity against both E. coli and S. aureus. This confirms that the natural extracts from SD, CA, and BVL have antibacterial efficacy as disinfectants at the tested concentrations.
