Lighting has become an essential element in modern life, serving not only the basic function of illumination but also fulfilling both functional and aesthetic roles. This study aims to incorporate natural imagery into living room stand lamp designs to provide a sense of healing and relaxation for contemporary users. The research methodology employed included a literature review, surveys, FGI, an d a design process. Survey results indicated that stand lamps are frequently used in living rooms, with preferred light sources being warm white, and key considerations including safety, quality, and interior design effects. In designs featuring natural imagery, white and wood-toned l amp shades, cloud-inspired shapes, and walnut materials were highly favored. The ideal dimensions for the lamp were identified as 150 cm in height and 40 cm in width. Based on these findings, a healing lamp was developed u sing a warm white LED light source, a cloud motif, and materials such as walnut and rolling PE for the lamp’s structure. During the finishing process, techniques such as polishing, coating, and die-casting were applied to create a sturdy and refined design while enhancing stability and durability. Reflecting consumer preferences, this study proposed the design concept of "Wenyun," a lamp imbued with the healing essence of nature. However, a limitation of this research lies in the absence of objective evaluations of the proposed design. Future studies should focus on developing diverse designs, incorporating market feasibility, and conducting comprehensive evaluations of the design solutions.

조명은 현대 생활에서 단순히 빛을 제공하는 기능을 넘어서 기능적·미적 역할을 동시에 수행하는 필수 요소로 자리잡았다. 본 연구는 자연 이미지를 활용한 조명 디자인을 통해 거실용 스탠드 조명 개발을 목적으로 한다. 분석방법에서 문헌 연구, 설문조사 및 포커스 그룹 인터뷰(FGI), 그리고 디자 인 프로세스를 통해 진행하였다. 설문조사 결과, 거실에서 스탠드 조명이 많이 사용되며, 선호하는 광원색은 주백색, 중요 한 요소로는 안전성과 품질, 인테리어 효과가 꼽혔다. 자연 이미지를 활용한 디자인에서는 흰색과 나무색의 조명 갓, 구 름 형태, 그리고 호두나무 소재가 선호되었고, 이상적인 크기는 높이 150cm, 넓이 40cm로 조사되었다. 이에 따라 주백색 LED 광원과 구름 형태를 바탕으로 호두나무와 롤링형 PE 소 재를 활용한 힐링 조명을 개발하였다. 마감 과정에서 연마, 도장, 다이캐스팅 공법을 적용해 견고하고 정교한 디자인을 완성하였으며, 안정성과 내구성을 높였다. 본 연구는 소비자의 요구를 반영하여 자연의 힐링 감성을 담아낸 '온운(溫雲)' 이라는 디자인안을 제안하였으나, 설계안에 대한 객관적 평 가를 수행하지 못한 한계가 있다. 후속 연구에서는 다양한 디자인과 시장성을 고려한 조명 개발 및 객관적 평가가 필요하다.
