This study is to conducted for the purpose of examining the difficulties faced by Chinese students majoring in Taekwondo in their relationships with Korean students and finding ways to support them. To achieve the purpose of the study, three Chinese and two Korean people were selected as research participants and the following conclusions were drawn through in-depth interviews. Research participants avoided each other due to problems with friendship, first, and conflict in communication. Second, no exchanges are possible due to the separation of domestic and foreign dormitories. Third, there was a sense of distance due to differences in Taekwondo practical skills.In addition, measures that should be provided to improve friendships between Chinese students studying abroad and Koreans include. First, first-year general education is replaced with subjects such as understanding of Korea, culture, and basic Taekwondo skills. Second, one-to-one matching between students and dormitory integration. Third, it was found that Korea-China cultural exchange clubs should be opened to build ties through learning. These results will not only resolve the language barrier for Chinese students studying abroad, but will also lead to a happy study abroad life in Korea, and furthermore, it is expected that Korea will grow into one of the world's top 10 study abroad powerhouses as suggested by the government.

이 연구는 태권도 전공 중국 유학생이 한국 학생과의 교우관계 어려움을 살펴보고 이들을 지원할 방안을 모색하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다. 연구의 목적 달성을 위해 중국인 3명, 한국인 2명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 심층면담을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 연구 참여자들은 교우관계의 문제로 첫째, 의사소통의 갈등으로 서로 회피. 둘째, 내⋅외 국인 기숙사 분리로 인한 교류 불가. 셋째, 태권도 실기 능력 차이로 거리감으로 나타났다. 아울러 중국인 유학생들과 한국인과의 교우관계 개선을 위해 지원해야 하는 방안으로는 첫째, 1학년 교양을 한국의 이해, 문화, 태권도 기초 실기 등 과목으로 대체. 둘째, 학생 간 1대1 매칭과 기숙사 통합. 셋째, 한-중 문화교류 동아리를 개설하여 배움을 통해 유대관 계를 쌓아가야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 중국인 유학생들의 언어 장벽 해결은 물론 한국에서의 행복한 유학 생활이 될 것이며, 나아가 정부에서 제시한 세계 10대 유학 강국으로 성장할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
