Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Korean churches have made a lot of efforts to recover, and the number of recoveries is getting better. In particular, it is worth noting the results of the survey that the spiritual interest of the saints has increased. But We can't be satisfied here. This is because we need to move toward revival, not recovery. There was good news for those of us dreaming of a revival, which was news of the revival of Asbury in the United States in 2023. Asbury's revival is also coupled with the revival of Korean churches in the past, and the representative one is "Explo74". This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Explo74, and the hope that the history of revival in Asbury will lead to the revival of the Korean church again is the common heart of all Christians. Since revival first begins inside the church, the message to the saints who have increased spiritual interest is more important than ever. This paper will present what content should be emphasized in the sermon through Jonathan Edwards, who led the period of the American revival.

코로나 팬데믹 이후 한국교회는 회복을 위해 많은 노력을 기울였고 회복의 가시적 수치는 점점 좋 아지는 상황이다. 특히 성도들의 영적인 관심이 높아졌다는 조사 결과는 눈여겨 볼만 하다. 하지만 여기서 만족할 수는 없다. 회복이 아닌 부흥으로 나아가야 하기 때문이다. 부흥을 꿈꾸는 우리에게 들려온 반가운 소식이 있었는데, 2023년 미국 애즈베리의 부흥 소식이었다. 애즈베리의 부흥은 과거 한국교회의 부흥과도 맞물려 있는데 대표적인 것이 ‘엑스플로74’이다. 올해는 엑스플로74 50주년이 되는 해로 애즈베리에서 일어난 부흥의 역사가 다시 한국교회의 부흥으로 이어지기를 바라는 마음은 모든 그리스도인들의 공통된 마음일 것이다. 부흥은 먼저 교회 안에서부터 시작되는 것이기 때문에 영적 관심이 높아진 성도들을 향한 메시지는 그 어느 때보다 중요하다. 본 논문은 미국 부흥의 시기 를 이끌었던 조나단 에드워즈의 설교에서 핵심 강조점을 도출하고 부흥을 위한 설교의 원리 3가지를 제시하겠다.
