The Church has mission based on Christ's Great Commission. Whether engaging in foreign or domestic missions, we encounter new cultures and ways of life. In this context, understanding culture becomes essential in the strategic approach to Christian mission. Missionaries typically learn the language and culture of the country they are serving before embarking on their mission. However, within any culture, there are aspects that align with biblical principles and others that do not. Therefore, it is not just important to go on a mission, but it is equally crucial to understand multiculturalism, biblical mission, and the appropriate way to engage with them. This paper defines the concept of multiculture and examines the relationship between multiculture and Christianity in the Bible through the Old and New Testaments. The study also emphasizes the importance of biblical education in Christian mission. Additionally, through Calvin's ecclesiology, the paper explores the necessity for the Church to fulfill its biblical missionary role and mission within a multicultural context. In an increasingly secularized world, even missions are becoming secularized. This paper aims to reaffirm the role of Christian education in mission and will propose a direction for the true role and mission of the Church in the multicultural age.

교회는 그리스도의 지상명령을 따라 선교적 사명을 가진다. 타국이나 국내로 선교를 간다면 우 리는 새로운 문화와 삶의 방식을 맞이하게 된다. 그래서 기독교의 선교 전략에 있어서도 문화이 해는 필수불가결이다. 기본적으로 선교사들은 해외 선교를 가기 전에 그 나라의 문화와 언어를 배운다. 그런데 그 문화 안에는 성경적 관점으로 옳은 것과 옳지 않는 것이 공존해 있다. 따라서 무조건적으로 선교를 가는 것이 중요한 것이 아니라, 다문화에 대해 이해하고, 성경적인 선교를 알고, 따라야 한다. 본 논문은 다문화의 개념을 정의하고, 성경에 나타난 다문화와 기독교의 교회 관계를 구약과 신약을 통해서 살펴보며, 성경을 통한 기독교 교육의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. 그리고 칼빈의 교회론을 통하여 다문화 속에서 교회가 성경적 선교적 역할과 사명을 감당해야 할 필요에 대하여 서술하였다. 본 논문은 신속하게 변하는 세상 속에서 선교마저도 세속화되어가는 이 때에, 성경 적 기독교의 교육을 통한 선교에 대해 확인하고, 다문화시대 속에서의 진정한 교회의 역할과 사 명의 방향을 제시할 것이다.
