This study aims to analyze and propose speech communication strategies for the effective delivery of narrative preaching. Emphasizing that narrative preaching requires emotional persuasion and audience engagement beyond mere information transmission, the study utilized the Praat voice analysis program to compare and analyze the vocal characteristics of various storytelling genres, including plays, musicals, and storytellers. The findings suggest that the ideal speech elements in narrative preaching include maximizing emotional intensity and dramatic expression through pitch and shimmer modulation while maintaining stable articulation by minimizing jitter. Additionally, strategic use of unvoiced segments and pauses can effectively create tension and resonance. Furthermore, maintaining vocal clarity through a high harmonics-to-noise ratio (HNR) is critical. This research provides practical insights for preachers to identify and improve their vocal weaknesses, ultimately designing audience-centered speech strategies that enhance the impact of narrative preaching. Consequently, preaching can evolve from a simple message delivery mechanism into an effective communication tool that fosters interaction and empathy with the audience.

본 연구는 내러티브 설교의 효과적인 전달을 위해 스피치 커뮤니케이션 전략을 분석하고 제시 하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 내러티브 설교가 단순한 정보 전달을 넘어 청중의 감정적 설 득과 몰입을 요구하는 독특한 특성을 가진다는 점을 강조하며, Praat 음성 분석 프로그램을 활용 하여 다양한 이야기 전달 장르(연극, 뮤지컬, 스토리텔러)의 음성을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 내러티브 설교에서의 이상적인 스피치 요소는 다음과 같이 도출되었다. 피치(Pitch)와 진폭 변동(Shimmer)을 통해 감정의 강약 조절과 극적인 표현을 극대화하며, 안정된 발성을 유지 하기 위해 주기 변동(Jitter)을 낮게 유지하는 것이 중요하다. 또한, 발성 중 무성 구간과 쉼을 전 략적으로 활용하여 긴장감과 여운을 효과적으로 조성하고, 조화 대 잡음 비율(HNR)을 통해 음성 의 명료성을 유지해야 한다. 이 연구는 설교자들이 자신의 음성적 약점을 파악하고 이를 개선하여 청중 중심의 스피치 설계를 통해 내러티브 설교의 효과를 극대화하는 데 실질적 도움을 제공한다. 이를 통해 설교는 단순한 메시지 전달을 넘어 청중과의 소통과 공감을 이루는 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 수단으로 자리매김할 수 있다.
