Su-un did not immediately become a shaman after receiving the teachings from God through a mystical experience on the 5th day of the 4th lunar month in 1860, the year of Gyeongsin. He further elaborated on the content in detail over a long period of 1 year and 2 months, and explained in detail the encounter with God in the Donggyeongdaejeon, and in the Nonhakmun, he explained the interpretation of the spells, which were divided into the Gangnyeongjumun and the Jumun. He also described it in Yongdamyusa Ansimga with relative frankness and honesty. The reason for this is that he wanted the world of Sicheonju to be where everyone can experience God in the same way and live according to God’s teachings through the encounter with God that he experienced during his attainment of the teachings. This paper attempted to approach and interpret Ji-gi, one of Suun’s interpretations of the spells, from the perspective of modern physics, and to compare and explain only the parts necessary for the interpretation of Ji-gi among the many contents of modern physics. Among them, the relationship between the understanding of the atomic structure and the empty space, and the principle of uncertainty were approached based on the principle that it was difficult to accurately observe the momentum and position of particles simultaneously. Finally, we tried to interpret the theory of geomancy by explaining the Honwonjiilgi as a Fourier series. In this way, we tried to approach the interpretation of Suun’s theory of geomancy from a modern physics perspective.

수운은 경신년 1860년 음력 4월 5일에 신비체험을 통하여 상제(하느님)로부터 도를 받은 뒤 바로 포덕(布德)을 하지 않았다. 1년 2개월이라는 긴 기간 동안 더욱 정진하여 내용을 자세하게 정리하여 동경대전(東經大全)에 포덕문(布德文)에서 신과의 만남을, 논학문(論學文)에서는 구체적으로 강령주문(降靈呪文)과 주문(呪文)으로 나누어진 주문의 해석을 자세하게 설명하였다. 또한 용담유사 안심가에서도 비교적 꾸밈없이 솔직하게 기술하였다. 이러한 이유는 본인이 득도 과정에서 체험한 하느님과의 만남을 모든 사람이 동일한 방법으로 하느님과의 체험을 통하여 하느님의 가르침대로 살아가는 시천주의 세상을 원했기 때문이다. 본 논문은 수운의 주문 해석 중 지기(至氣)를 현대물리학(現代物理學)의 관점에서 접근하여 해석하고자 하였으며, 현대물리학에 많은 내용 중에서 지기(至氣) 해석에 필요한 부분만 비교 설명하고자 하였다. 그중에 원자 구조이해와 허(虛)의 관계, 불확정성의 원리에서 본 여형이난상 여문이난견(如形而難狀과 如聞而難見)을 입자의 운동량과 위치를 동시에 정확한 관측이 어렸다는 원리로 접근하였다. 마지막으로 혼원지일기(渾元之一氣)를 푸리에 급수로 설명하여 지기(至氣)를 해석하려고 하였다. 이렇듯 수운(水雲)의 지기론(至氣論)을 해석함에 이에 따르는 현대 물리학적 관점으로 접근하고자 하였다.
