Under the ｢Water Leisure Safety Act｣, “Pause and Confirmation" is a standard Coast Guard function when a person riding a water leisure vehicle recognizes that it has violated the Act, and the Coast Guard officer stops the water leisure vehicle and confirms it or confirms its identity.
