Green innovation requires financial support, and whether firms with financial constraints exhibit lower efficiency in green innovation remains a question. This study aims to analyze the relationship between green innovation and financial constraintsbased onregression analysis.　We selected Chinese listed companies as the sample and used green innovation patents to measure the outcomes of green innovation. Referring to prior studies, we adopted the KZ　and SA indexes　as proxies for financial constraints. Our findings reveal a positive correlation between green innovation patents and financial constraints. In other words, the higher the financial constraints faced by a firm, the greater its efficiency in green innovation. This suggests that financially constrained firms tend to better utilize their internal R&D resources, thereby enhancing the efficiency of green innovation.

본 연구는 녹색 혁신이 재정적 지원을 필요로 한다는 점에 착안하여, 재정적 제약을 겪는 기업이 녹색 혁신에서 낮은 효율성을 보이는지 여부를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 회귀분석 기법을 사용하여 녹색 혁신과 재정적 제약 간의 관계를 규명하는 데 초점을 두었다. 연구 대상은 중국 상장기업으로 한정하였으며, 녹색 혁신의 성과를 측정하기 위해 녹색 혁신 특허를 활용하였다. 또한, 선행 연구를 참고하여 재정적 제약의 대리 변수로 KZ 지수와 SA 지수를 채택하였다. 분석 결과, 녹색 혁신 특허와 재정적 제약 간에 긍정적인 상관관계가 있음을 확인하 였다. 이는 기업이 직면한 재정적 제약이 클수록 녹색 혁신의 효율성이 높아진다는 점을 시사한다. 특히, 재정적 제약을 겪는 기업은 내부 연구개발(R&D) 자원을 보다 효과적으로 활용하여 녹색 혁신의 효율성을 증대시키는 것 으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 재정적 제약이 오히려 녹색 혁신의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있는 요인으로 작용할 가능성 을 제시하였다. 이러한 결과는 재정적 자원의 제약이 기업의 혁신 전략과 R&D 자원 활용 방식에 중요한 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사하며, 녹색 혁신을 촉진하기 위한 정책적, 실무적 함의를 제공한다.
