Today God’s creation is in a more serious ecological crisis than ever before. Various approaches have been proposed to overcome this, but the ecological crisis situation is getting worse to the extent that these proposed solutions are overshadowed. Therefore, this research proposes reconciliation as a more fundamental and relational approach to overcoming the ecological crisis. Reconciliation as a missionary paradigm provides an important approach for recovering the broken relationship between nature and humans. “Eco-reconciliation” is presented as a term for reconciliation between nature and humans. It is defined as the process of renewing the relationship of symbiosis and harmony between nature and humans. It is the restoration of God's creative order and principles as God's mission to reconcile all things through Jesus Christ. Today's mission, based on Eco-reconciliation, is suggested to create a space for reconciliation between nature and humans, to awaken that all Christians have been called the people of reconciliation, and to connect the responsibility of reconciliation given to the faith community. Through these practical means to the Ecoreconciliation this research aims to provide hope and momentum for all creation to move forward toward the reconciliation of all things in a harmonious relationship.

오늘날의 창조세계는 그 어느 때보다 심각한 위기 상황에 처해 있다. 이를 극복하고자 하는 다양한 차원의 대응들이 제시되었지만 이러한 노 력들이 무색할 정도로 생태위기 상황은 점차 악화되고 있다. 이에 본 연 구는 생태위기 극복을 위한 보다 근본적이고 관계적인 차원의 접근으로 써 화해를 제시한다. 화해는 하나의 선교패러다임으로써 자연과 인간의 깨어진 관계가 다시 우호적인 관계로 회복하는데 중요한 단서를 제공한 다. 자연과 인간의 화해를 의미하는 용어로써 제시된 ‘생태적 화해’(Ecoreconciliation) 는 인간이 창조세계의 일부라는 정체성을 인식함으로써 자 연과 인간의 불통, 갈등, 소외의 관계를 공생과 조화의 관계로 갱신하고 자 연과 인간의 공동체성을 회복하는 과정으로, 나아가 예수 그리스도를 통 해 만물을 화해시키는 하나님의 선교로써 모든 창조세계가 하나님의 창조 질서와 원리로 회복되는 것으로 정의된다. 생태적 화해에 근거한 오늘날의 선교는 자연과 인간의 화해를 위한 공간을 조성하고, 모든 그리스도인들이 화해의 백성으로 부르심을 받았다는 것을 각성시키며, 신앙공동체에게 주 어진 화해의 책임을 잇는 것으로 제시된다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 오늘날의 절망적 생태위기 상황 속에서도 모든 창조세계가 조화로운 관계 속에서 만물의 화해를 향하여 전진할 수 있는 희망과 동력을 제공하고자 한다.
