This study aims to propose the analytical focus of posthuman qualitative research based on Actor-Network Theory (ANT). ANT regards humans and non-humans as equal actors and pays attention to their complex networks and dynamics. Existing qualitative research methods have limitations such as anthropocentric approaches, fixed research methodologies, and the separation of researchers from phenomena. ANT has been suggested as an alternative to overcome these issues. However, studies on the analytical framework of ANT-based qualitative research remain insufficient. This study reviews the theoretical background of ANT and focuses on ‘relational ontology,’ ‘the principle of irreduction,’ and ‘the equivalence of human and non-human actors,’ with a central focus on ‘translation,’ which is the core concept of ANT. Translation refers to the process of establishing networks between actors, where the phenomena and effects that arise from the interactions of actors are considered reality. The experience of becoming an ANT qualitative researcher was achieved through the technique of ‘reading performance,’ and this knowledge was embodied through the collaborative interactions of the researchers. The meaning of this experience was derived from the process of practically exploring and applying ANT’s theoretical background, resulting in the researcher’s growth and an enhanced understanding of research methodology.

이 연구는 브뤼노 라투르(Bruno Latour)의 행위자-연결망이론(ANT)을 기반으로 한 포스트휴먼 질적 연구의 분석 초점을 제안하고자 한다. ANT는 인간과 비인간을 동등 한 행위자로 간주하며, 이들의 복잡한 관계망과 그 역동에 주목한다. 기존의 질적 연구 방법들은 인간중심적 접근, 고정된 연구방법론, 연구자와 현상의 분리라는 한계가 있 으며 ANT는 이를 극복하기 위해 대안으로 제시되고 있다. 그러나 ANT기반 질적 연구 의 분석 틀에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이 연구는 ANT의 이론적 배경을 검토하여 ANT의 핵심 개념인 ‘번역’을 중심으로 ‘관계적 존재론’, ‘비환원의 원리’, 그리고 ‘인간과 비인간 행위자의 동등성’을 분석의 핵심 초점으로 삼는다. 번역은 행위자 간의 연결망 을 구축하는 과정으로 행위자들의 상호작용을 통해 나타난 현상과 효과를 실재라고 본 다. ANT기반 ‘질적 연구자-되기’의 경험은 ‘읽기 수행’ 기법을 통해 이루어졌으며 연구 자들의 협력적 상호작용을 통해 체화된 지식으로 나타났다. 이 경험의 의미는 ANT의 배경 이론을 실천적으로 탐색하고 적용하는 과정으로, 질적 연구자로서의 성장과 연구 방법에 대한 이해로 도출되었다.
