The purpose of this study began with awareness of the issues surrounding the recently changing student athlete development system and aimed to explore ways to improve a more progressive student athlete development system. To this end, we sought advice from experts in the student athlete development system, collected relevant data, and conducted research. Through the research, the changing aspects of the student athlete development system in Region J were examined, and in order for the student athlete development system linked to the local community to be established, it was suggested that the following organic efforts are needed to create a progressive sports ecosystem: first, conducting research on the student athlete development model and reorganizing the system; second, strengthening strategic support for school sports teams; third, establishing a system for regionalizing school sports teams; fourth, implementing education and consulting to strengthen the expertise of related organizations; and fifth, establishing a student athlete development system centered on sports clubs.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 변화하고 있는 학생 선수 육성시스템에 관한 문제의식에서 시작되었으며 더욱 발전적인 학생 선수 육성시스템의 개 선방안을 탐색하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 관련 전문가를 대상으로 자문하였으며 관련 자료를 수집하여 연구를 수행하였다. 연구를 통해 J 지역의 학생 선수 육성시스템의 변화 양상을 짚어보았으며, 지역사회와 연계한 학생 선수 육성시스템이 정착하기 위해서는 첫째, 학생 선수 육 성 모델 연구 수행 및 제도 정비, 둘째, 학교 운동부에 대한 전략적 지원 강화, 셋째, 학교 운동부 지역화에 대한 체계 마련, 넷째, 관계 기관의 전문성 강화 교육 및 컨설팅 시행, 다섯째, 스포츠클럽을 중심으로 한 학생 선수 육성시스템 정착 등의 유기적인 노력이 어우러진 발전적인 형태의 스포츠 생태계 조성이 필요함을 제안하였다.
