In this study, we sought to examine the impact of technology-based self-service characteristics applied to aviation services on innovation resistance and acceptance intention. Airline TBSS characteristics were derived through theoretical consideration, and innovation resistance theory was applied to the adoption of innovative technology to ultimately establish a research model for smooth acceptance of TBSS. A total of 280 pieces of data were collected from customers who had experience using airline TBSS and empirically analyzed using SEM. The analysis results are as follows. First, among the airline TBSS characteristics, usefulness, ease of use, and reliability were adopted as they were shown to have a significant negative impact on innovation resistance, while safety and playfulness were rejected as they were shown to have no effect. Second, innovation resistance was found to have a significant negative effect on acceptance intention. Third, among the TBSS characteristics, the higher the perception of usefulness, ease of use, and safety, the more positive influence it had on acceptance intention, while playfulness and reliability had no influence. In order to improve the usefulness and ease of use of TBSS to reduce innovation resistance, related departments need to promote innovative convergence of cutting-edge technologies and services by making the entire travel route and airport operation smart.

본 연구에서는 항공 서비스에 적용되고 있는 TBSS 특성이 혁신저항과 수용의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보 고자 하였다. 이론적 고찰을 통해 항공사 TBSS 특성을 도출하였으며, 혁신 기술 채택에 있어 혁신저항 이론 을 적용하여 연구모형을 설정하였다. 항공사 TBSS를 이용한 경험이 있는 고객을 대상으로 총 280부의 자료 를 수집하였고, 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 실증 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 아래와 같다. 첫째, 항공사 TBSS 특성 중 유용성, 용이성, 신뢰성은 혁신저항에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 채택되었고, 안 전성과 유희성은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 기각되었다. 둘째, 혁신저항은 수용의도에 유의한 부(-) 의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 새로운 기술에 대해 비판적으로 생각하고 항공사 TBSS 이외에 다 른 방법을 찾고자 하는 의도가 강할수록 수용의도가 낮아지는 것을 의미한다. 셋째, TBSS 특성 중 유용성, 용이성, 안정성을 높게 지각할수록 수용의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 유희성, 신뢰성은 영향을 미치지 않 는 것으로 나타났다. 혁신저항 감소를 위한 TBSS 유용성과 용이성 제고를 위해 관련 부서에서는 전 여행 경 로와 공항 운영 전반을 스마트화하여 첨단 기술과 서비스의 혁신적 융합을 도모할 필요가 있다.
