In today’s world, society enjoys location information services conveniently provided on portal sites and mobile maps. Pl aces of interest can be checked with satellite and aerial images, and it is also possible to receive information about facilitie s or directions to get to the facilities. Some of the information these convenient services offer, however, contains the infor mation that should not be exposed and needs to be secure. A good example is information on national critical facilities, wh ich have an impact on national security and people’s lives, and such information is often exposed on many online maps, su ch as portal site maps, mobile maps, and navigation maps. This exposure is quite serious, because it can be used by hostil e forces as target information for terrorism and provocation. In this context, this study analyzes the problem of the expose d locations of military installations and bases among national critical facilities to examine whether they are exposed on por tal site maps. Since the problem of the exposed locations of national critical facilities by satellite and aerial images is bein g recognized and addressed socially, this study explores countermeasures by analyzing the status of various facilities locat ed inside military installations and bases on portal site maps.

오늘날 우리 사회는 포털사이트 및 모바일 지도를 이용한 편리한 위치정보 서비스를 제공받고 있다. 위성 및 항공사진을 통해 관심 있는 장소를 확인할 수도 있고 해당 시설의 정보를 제공받거나 해당 장소로 이동할 수 있는 길 찾기 서비스도 제공 받을 수 있다. 하지만 이러한 편리한 서비스가 제공하는 정보 중에는 노출이 되면 안 되는 보안이 필요한 정보도 포함되어 있 다. 대표적으로 국가안보와 국민 생활에 영향을 주는 국가중요시설 정보가 있으며 포털사이트 지도 및 모바일 지도, 내비게이 션 등 수많은 인터넷 지도에는 이러한 정보가 노출되는 사례가 빈번히 발생 되고 있다. 이러한 정보노출은 적대세력의 테러 및 도발 시 표적정보로 활용될 소지가 있기 때문에 그 심각성은 적지 않다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 국가중요시설이 포털사이트 지도상에 노출됐는지를 확인하기 위해 국가중요시설 중 군사시설 및 기지를 대상으로 위치노출을 문제를 분석하 였다. 위성 및 항공사진에 의한 국가중요시설의 위치노출 문제는 사회적으로 인식하여 대응 중에 있기 때문에 군사시설 및 기 지 내부공간에 위치한 각종 시설정보의 포털사이트 지도상 노출실태 분석을 통해 대응방안을 모색하였다.
