The purpose of this study is to understand the passion of dance majors using the extended theory of planned behavior (ETPB). Accordingly, 300 dance majors from three universities in the Gyeonggi area in 2024 were selected as the subjects, and a total of 253 questionnaires were analyzed using the convenience sampling method. The collected questionnaires were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and path model analysis using SPSS and AMOS 21 programs. The results are as follows. First, among the components of the theory of planned behavior, attitude and subjective norm were found to have a significant effect on harmonious passion, and perceived behavioral control was found to have a significant effect on obsessive passion. Second, among the components of passion, harmonious passion was found to have a significant effect on the behavioral intention of dance majors. Third, perceived behavioral control was found to have a significant effect on the behavioral intention of dance majors. The results of this study are expected to contribute to theoretical confirmation of how passion functions in the lives of dance majors and to establishing strategies to harmoniously lead the passion of dance majors in schools.

본 연구는 확장된 계획행동이론(ETPB)을 활용해 무용전공자의 열정 파악에 연구의 목적이 있다. 이에 2024년 경기권 3개 대학의 무용전공자 300명을 대상으로 선정하였으며, 편의표집법을 활용해 총 253부의 설문지를 분석하였다. 이에 수집된 설문지는 SPSS 및 AMOS 21 프로그램을 통해 기술통계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관관 계분석, 경로모형분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 계획행동이론의 구성변수 중 태도, 주관적 규범 은 조화열정에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 지각된 행동통제력은 강박열정에 유의한 영향을 미치 는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 열정의 구성변수 중 조화열정은 무용전공자의 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것 으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지각된 행동통제력은 무용전공자의 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 무용전공자의 삶에서 열정이 어떠한 방식으로 작용하는가에 대한 이론적 확인과 더불어 학교 현 장에서 무용전공자의 열정을 조화롭게 이끌 수 있는 전략 수립에 기여하는데 활용될 것을 기대하는 바이다.
