This article deals with the issue of twilight divorce and graduating from divorce and seeks the solutions. First, we examine twilight divorce and graduating from divorce as social phenomena, and explore the background of their occurrence. Second, we analyze the meaning of romantic love, marriage, and family in this regard. Third, we explain the limits of romantic love, and examine human, confluent, and practical love as alternatives. Lastly, we examine fraternal love as a unique characteristic of Korean couples, and suggest that we need mutual understanding based on empathy.
