The purpose of this study was to observe how resistance training altered inflammation variables and gait ability levels in lumbar patients during recovery stage after 360° spinal fusion surgery. The subjects were chosen from patients diagnosed with lumbar instability at J hospital. The total number of participants was 20 (10 experimental group: 5 men & 5 women:10 control group:5 men & 5 women). The patients in experimental group were able to walk on their own and participated in resistance training twice a day three days after the surgery and patients in control group are did not participate in any training. Analyse of inflammation variables and gait ability alterations are performed and the results were as follows: Levels of CRP & maximal walking speed have been analyzed to study it. The result showed that the experimental group had significantly lower level of CRP & maximal walking speed than the control (p<0.05). On the other hand, no changes were noticed in ESR, normal walking speed, stride length during both normal and maximal in both groups (p>0.05).

본 연구의 목적은 360° 척추 고정술 후 회복 동안의 저항성 트레이닝 적용이 염증변인 및 보행능력을 어떻게 변화시키는지 살펴보는데 있다. 피험자는 J병원에서 요추 불안정증 진단을 받아 360° 척추 고정술을 받은 환자 20명[운동그룹(10명):남성 5명, 여성 5명, 비운동그룹(10명):남성 5명, 여성 5명]을 대상으로 설정하였다. 운동그룹은 혼자 보행이 가능한 수술 후 3일째 되는 날부터 1일 2회 저항성 트레이닝에 참여하였다. 이에 따른 두 그룹간의 염증변인 및 보행능력 변화를 분석하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 염증변인 중 CRP와 보행능력 중 최대보속은 저항성 트레이닝 적용 유․무에 따른 운동그룹이 비운동그룹보다 긍정적인 결과가 나타났으며, 통계적으로도 유의한 차이가 나타나(p<.05), 치료과정에서의 저항성 트레이닝이 수술 후 회복과정에서 인체의 변화에 영향을 준 것으로 생각된다. 그러나 ESR, 보통보속, 최대보속시 보폭, 보통보속시 보폭에 있어서는 운동그룹과 비운동그룹간에 차이가 나타나지 않았다(p>.05).
