The purpose of this study is to explore the participation of exchange students at G University of Education in the ‘Enjoying World Folk Dance Together’ lecture. Through this, it would like to find out what exchange students, as learners, need to actively participate in folk dance classes, and what preparations the researcher, as an instructor, needs to make to conduct folk dance classes smoothly. This study was a case study, and data were collected through literature research, the lecture environment of the research participants, lecture plans, questionnaires and interviews, impressions, and the researcher's observation diary, and were analyzed and described based on the collected data. The results of this study are as follows. From the learner's perspective, language issues need to be resolved in order to actively participate in folk dance classes. To solve language problems, exchange students need Korean language education for basic communication with others. From the instructor's perspective, group problem solving is necessary to conduct folk dance classes smoothly. Group problem solving is accompanied by language problem solving. In order to solve group problems, it is necessary for the researcher, the instructor, to prepare lecture materials that include both Korean and English, and to explain the lecture content, assignments, and presentations in Korean and English. It is necessary for instructors to diversify the content of folk dance classes so that exchange students can learn and enjoy folk dance by continuously changing into various groups composed of new group members. In addition, it is necessary for instructors to recommend and help exchange students participate in various activities that allow them to experience Korean culture and art.

본 연구는 G 교육대학교 교환학생들의 ‘다함께 즐기는 세계의 포크댄스’ 강의 참여 사례를 탐색하는데 그 목적 이 있다. 이를 통해 학습자인 교환학생들에게 적극적인 포크댄스 강의 참여를 위해 무엇이 필요한지 또 교수자 인 본 연구자에게 원활한 포크댄스 강의 진행을 위해 어떠한 준비가 필요한지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구는 사례 연구로 문헌 연구와 함께 연구 참여자들의 강의 환경, 강의계획서, 설문지 및 면담, 감상문, 연구자의 관찰 일지 등을 통해 자료를 수집하고, 수집한 자료를 바탕으로 분석하며 기술하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 학습 자의 입장에서 적극적인 포크댄스 강의 참여를 위해서는 언어 문제 해결이 필요하다. 언어 문제 해결을 위해 학 습자인 교환학생들은 다른 사람들과의 기본적인 의사소통을 위해 한국어 교육이 필요하다. 교수자의 입장에서 원활한 포크댄스 강의 진행을 위해서는 모둠 문제 해결이 필요하다. 모둠 문제 해결에는 언어 문제 해결이 동반 한다. 모둠 문제 해결을 위해 교수자인 본 연구자는 한국어에 영어가 포함된 강의 자료를 준비하고, 강의 내용과 과제, 발표 등 한국어와 영어로 설명하는 것이 필요하다. 교수자는 새로운 모둠원들로 구성된 다양한 모둠으로의 지속적인 변화를 주어 교환학생들이 포크댄스를 배우고 즐길 수 있도록 포크댄스 강의 내용을 다양하게 구성하 는 것이 필요하다. 그 외 교수자는 한국의 문화와 예술을 접할 수 있는 다양한 활동을 교환학생들에게 추천하여 참여할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 것이 필요하다.
