Purpose : Technological innovations resulting from the 4th Industrial Revolution are having various impacts on global trade. These technological changes are being widely applied in the fields of logistics, distribution, customs, and customs clearance. This study is a study on the problems and countermeasures of introducing a payment system using NFT in international trade. Research design, data, methodology : This study presents the concept of global payments using NFT and smart contracts and the current important issues. To achieve the purpose of this study, various materials were referenced. As a research method, problems were identified based on previous studies on similar topics, policy directions by country, and press releases, and countermeasures were presented. Results : This study identifies problems and suggests countermeasures from the perspective of NFT and international trade rather than the technical and payment system aspects of NFT. The research results suggest legal and regulatory issues, price volatility of NFT, lack of payment infrastructure using NFT, security and reliability of payment, user experience and technical complexity, transaction costs, and environmental pollution in order to use NFT for payment in international trade. Conclusions : In order for the countermeasures presented in this study to be implemented, it is necessary to first comply with the laws of each country in terms of legal and regulatory aspects. The binding force of smart contracts must be secured through legal review, and tax issues must be clearly resolved. Establishing technological infrastructure is also an important factor. It is necessary to develop a secure NFT wallet and smart contracts to ensure the accuracy and security of transactions. In addition, it is necessary to implement a multi-layer security system to increase the reliability of the system, and education and support for actual users are also necessary.

4차 산업혁명에 따른 기술 혁신이 글로벌 무역에 다양한 영향을 미치고 있다. 기존 선하증권에 블록체인 기술을 활용하여 디지털 유가증권을 변환시켜 활용할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 기술 적 변화는 물류와 유통, 관세, 통관 분야에서 광범위하게 적용되고 있다. 본 연구는 국제무역에 서 NFT를 활용한 결제 시스템 도입의 문제점과 대응방안을 살펴보고자 한다. NFT의 기술적 측면과 결제 시스템적 측면보다는 NFT와 국제무역이라는 관점에서 문제점을 도출하고 이에 대한 대책을 제시하였다. 연구결과 국제 무역에서 NFT를 결제를 사용하기 위해서 법적 및 규 제적 문제, NFT의 가격 변동성 문제, NFT를 활용한 결제 인프라 부족, 결제의 보안 및 신뢰성, 사용자 경험과 기술적 복잡성, 거래비용, 환경오염 등의 문제를 제시하였다. 대응 방안으로 법 적 및 규제적 측면에서 각국의 법률을 준수하고, 법적 검토를 통해 스마트 계약의 구속력을 확보하고 세금 문제에 대한 해결과 기술 인프라 구축, 정확하고 안전한 스마트 계약의 개발, 시스템의 신뢰성을 높이기 위한 다층 보안 시스템 구현, 사용자에 대한 교육과 지원 등을 제시 하였다.
