Relative Importance Analysis for the Use of Drone for Forest Fire Suppression in Preparation for the 4th Industrial Revolution

초록

영어

The The extent of damage caused by the simultaneous occurrence and enlargement of large forest fires due to climate change is increasing. This highlights both the difficulties and limitations of current forest fire response methods, and underscores the growing importance of effectively utilizing drone robot technology to suppress forest fires in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Considering the limitations of current forest fire suppression methods and the severity of damage caused by forest fires, we explore the possibility of applying the characteristics and advantages of drone robots to forest fire suppression. Additionally, the relative importance is evaluated by analyzing the development potential of drone robot technology and its impact on environmental preservation and life-saving in forest fire suppression. Through this, a strategy for responding to future forest fires is presented. As a result, experts recognized that, in order to quickly and effectively suppress forest fires using drones, the first priority is to improve systems and policies, followed by the enhancement of operational technology and public awareness. It was confirmed that this prioritization is critical for effective implementation.
