The purpose of this study is to analyze various problems and derive policy measures to improve them so that apprenticeship schools facing internal and external difficulties. To this end, a recognition and demand survey was conducted on 132 managers, senior teachers, and teachers in charge, including principals and vice principals of 15 regional industry-academic apprenticeships nationwide, and the necessity and timing of introduction were compared and analyzed. As a result of the study, there were six items that needed improvement in the area of organizing the industry-academia integrated apprenticeship school curriculum, four short-term key improvements and two mid- and long-term introduction review items. On the other hand, there are 7 items that need to be introduced in the short term in the operation and management area and 8 items in the utilization and support area, indicating that it is urgent to introduce the apprenticeship school curriculum operation model. The policy suggestions derived based on the research results are as follows. First, in terms of the area of curriculum organization, it was proposed to introduce ① P-TECH Prime, ②improve the apprenticeship school operation model (local government-linked), ③expand the criteria for recognition of on the job training (OJT), and ④fully introduce and upgrade the apprenticeship preliminary course. Second, in the area of curriculum operation and management, the necessity of introducing ①the apprenticeship administrative teacher system, ②resetting and raising the level of participation standards for companies, and ③developing an online education platform for companies was suggested. Third, in the area of support and utilization of the curriculum, it is required to ①enact the Act on the Parallel High School and ②expand support for the industry-led organization.

본 연구의 목적은 학령인구의 감소와 양질의 일자리 감축에 따라 제반 어려움에 봉착한 산학일체형 도제학교가 안정적으로 확대·운영될 수 있도록 교육과정 측면에서 제반 문제점을 분석하고 이를 개선하기 위한 구체적인 정책 방안을 도출하는 데 있다. 연구 수행을 위해 전국 15개 지역 산학일체형 도제학교 교장, 교감 등 관리자, 부장교사, 담당교사 132명을 대상으로 인식 및 요구조사를 실시하였으며, 교육과정 모형을 입체적으로 분석하기 위해 ①편성 영역, ②운영·관리 영역, ③활용·지원 영역별 세부 항목에 대한 필요성과 도입 시기 요구도를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 산학일체형 도제학교 교육과정 편성 영역에서 개선이 필요한 항목은 6개, 단기 중점 개선 사항 4개, 중·장기적 도입 검토 항목 2개로 나타났다. 한편 운영·관리 영역에서 단기적으로 도입 필요성이 큰 항목이 7개, 활용·지원 영역에서는 8개로 나타나 도제학교 교육과정 운영 모형의 활용·지원 측면에서 도입이 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 도출한 정책 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육과정 편성 영역 측면에서 ①4년제 대 학 연계 도제계약학과 도입, ②도제학교 운영 모형 개선, ③OJT인정기준 확대, ④도제예비과정 전면 도입 및 고도화를 제안하였다. 둘째, 교육과정 운영·관리 영역에서는 ①도제전담교사제 도입 및 도제지원관 전 면 배치, ②학습기업 참여 기준 재설정 및 수준 제고, ③학습기업 온라인 교육 플랫폼 개발의 필요성을 제시하였다. 셋째, 교육과정 활용·지원 영역 측면에서 ①일학습병행고등학교 법령 제정, ②산업계주도형 주관 협회 지원 확대를 제시하였다.
