This research was conducted to investigate the relationship between perceived stress and warning symptoms of relapse in alcohol-using patients undergoing inpatient treatment at a metropolitan alcohol treatment hospital, and to determine how anger-in coping style influences this relationship. The aim was to understand the variables influencing warning symptoms of relapse in alcoholics and to explore appropriate intervention measures. To achieve this, a survey was conducted from January to March 2023, and the collected data were analyzed using statistical methods such as t-tests, analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Bootstrap was performed to test the significance of the indirect effects through the mediator variables. The results of the study showed significant positive correlations between perceived stress, anger-in coping style, and relapse warning symptoms among alcoholics. Moreover, anger-in coping style partially mediated the relationship between perceived stress and relapse warning symptoms in alcoholics. Based on these research findings, suggestions were made for preventing relapse among alcoholics.

본 연구는 광역시 알코올전문병원에서 입원 치료중인 알코올 사용 환자를 대상(n=238)으로 지각된 스트 레스와 알코올 재발 경고 증상간의 관계에 분노억제가 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 확인하기 위해 수행되었 다. 이를 통해 알코올 재발에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 이해하고, 적절한 개입 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2023년 1월부터 3월까지 설문조사를 실시했으며, t-검증, 변량분석, pearson 상관 분석, 위계적 회귀분석과 같은 통계적 분석 방법을 사용해 자료를 분석하였다. 매개 변수를 통한 간접효 과를 검정하기 위해 부트스트래핑을 하였다. 연구 결과, 알코올 사용 환자의 지각된 스트레스, 분노억제, 재발경고증상 간에는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 알코올 사용 환자의 지각된 스트레스와 재발경고증상간의 관계를 분노억제가 부분 매개하였다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 근거해 알코 올사용 환자의 재발을 막기 위한 제안점을 제시하였다.
