This study aims to systematically collect, synthesize, and analyze prior research on career portfolios, both domestically and internationally, in order to assess the current state of research and verify the characteristics and effectiveness of career portfolios. To achieve the research goal, literature was collected following the systematic review process flowchart proposed by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute. Out of a total of 115 articles gathered from databases, 42 were selected for analysis. The analysis revealed the following findings: First, despite growing interest in career portfolios, there has not been a corresponding increase in research on the subject. Second, most studies on career portfolios have been conducted with elementary, middle, high school, and college students, with relatively little focus on adults. Third, career portfolio studies have mainly been approached from the perspective of providers who develop and manage portfolios, rather than from the perspective of users. Fourth, career portfolios encompass activities and outcomes related to self and environmental understanding, career choice, career goal setting and planning, career preparation, and career development, with the emphasis varying by school level or developmental stage. Fifth, career portfolios have the potential to positively impact an individual's career development. Based on these findings, recommendations for future research are provided.

이 연구는 국내·외 커리어 포트폴리오 관련 선행연구를 체계적으로 수집하고 종합하여 분석함으로써 선행연구의 실태를 확인하고 커리어 포트폴리오의 특징과 효과를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 한국보건의료연구원이 제안한 체계적 문헌고찰 연구 과정 흐름도에 따라 문헌을 수 집하였고 데이터베이스를 통해 수집한 총 115편의 문헌 중, 42편의 문헌을 분석 대상으로 선정하고 자 료를 추출하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 최근 커리어 포트폴리오에 대한 관심이 높아짐과 달리, 선행연구의 관심은 높지 않 았다. 둘째, 커리어 포트폴리오 연구는 주로 초, 중, 고등학교 학생 및 대학생을 대상으로 수행되었고 성인 대상의 커리어 포트폴리오에 대한 관심은 상대적으로 낮았다. 셋째, 커리어 포트폴리오 연구는 주 로 커리어 포트폴리오를 개발, 운영하는 공급자 관점으로 수행되었다. 넷째, 커리어 포트폴리오는 자신 과 직업세계에 대한 이해, 진로선택, 목표설정 및 계획, 진로준비, 경력개발 성과에 관한 활동 및 결과 가 포함되며 학교급 또는 발달단계에 따라 중요도가 다르게 나타났다. 다섯째, 커리어 포트폴리오는 개 인 진로에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 상기 연구 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
