[Purpose] This study investigated the effect of the establishment of a golf team in Seodaemun District on the image, recognition, and preference of Seodaemun District in order to find out the effects of the establishment and operation of a new sports team in the city, province, and district. [Method] For the study, a survey was conducted with the help of one Seodaemun District office employee with the permission of the Seodaemun District Office from April to May 2024, and the results were analyzed using R Version 3.6.1. [Results] The results of the analysis showed a positive effect on the image, recognition, and preference. [Conclusion] Seodaemun District currently operates a women's basketball team, and this has led to excellent performance and good results. In addition, the establishment of a voluntary cheering squad by Seodaemun District residents has united Seodaemun District as one, forming a new channel of communication, uniting residents, and transforming into a new future-oriented city. In this way, it will be possible to improve the satisfaction, recognition, image, and pride of Seodaemun-gu by utilizing various sports.

[목적] 본 연구는 시·도·구에서 새로운 스포츠팀 창단 운영에 따른 효과에 대해 알아보기 위해 서대문구 골프팀 창단이 서대문구 이미지, 인지도, 선호도에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. [방법] 연구를 위해 2024년 4~5월 동안 서대문 구청 허락하에 구청 직원 1명의 도움으로 설문조사를 하였고, R Version 3.6.1을 활용하여 분석하였다. [결과] 분석된 결과 이미지, 인지도, 선호도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. [결론] 현재 서대문구는 여자구민 농구단을 운영 하여 좋은 성적을 거둬내고 있다. 또한 서대문구 주민들의 자발적 응원단 구축으로 서대문구가 하나로 뭉쳐 새 로운 소통의 장이 형성되고, 이를 계기로 구민이 하나 되고, 새로운 미래지향적 도시로 탈바꿈되고 있다. 이렇듯 다 양한 스포츠를 활용하여 서대문구의 만족도, 인지도, 이미지, 자부심 고취 등의 제고를 가져올 수 있을 것이다.
