This study attempts to apply the theory of inferiority to improve plastic surgery addiction in adults. This is because the sense of inferiority acting on the inside of plastic surgery addiction is found as a problem of self-vulnera -bility, social oppression, and personal identity. It focuses on the factors that prevent inferiority from acknowledging their own existence in plastic surgery addiction in adults. This is because the sense of inferiority leads them to constantly seek improvement in their appearance and repeated plastic surgery. In this study, the result of applying the 'theory of inferiority' is obtained. It is that psychological deficiency is treated by improving the psychological inferiority complex acting on the inner side of plastic surgery. This is because inferiority is a factor that prevents one from accepting one's appearance or oneself. The next thing is to treat self-esteem. This is because even if they gain temporary satisfaction through plastic surgery, their inferiority complex does not lead to fundamental self-esteem improvement. This is because dis -satisfaction with appearance, combined with other psychological problems, is a factor that further lowers self-esteem. Finally, it is the treatment of the fear of incompleteness. The fear of incompleteness was to have anxiety or fear of one's own deficiency or defect. Since plastic surgery addiction in adults is related to inferiority, treatment was needed through the improvement of the inferiority complex. The purpose of this study is to improve the sense of inferiority from plastic surgery addiction in adults or to be somewhat liberated from the sense of inferiority. This is why Adler's theory was applied as a way to solve the psychological inferiority of plastic surgery addiction in adults.

본 연구는 성인의 성형중독의 개선을 위해서 열등감이론의 적용을 시도한다. 성형 중독의 내면에서 작용하는 열등감은 자아 취약성의 문제와 사회적인 억압의 문제, 그 리고 개인 정체성의 문제로 발견되기 때문이다. 성인의 성형중독에서 열등감이 자신 의 자기 자신의 존재를 인정하지 못하도록 작용하는 요인에 초점을 둔다. 열등감은 이들에게 끊임없는 외모 개선을 추구하게 하면서 성형수술을 반복적으로 하게 만들기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 ‘열등감의 이론’을 적용한 결과를 얻게 된다. 성형중독의 내 면에서 작용하는 심리적인 열등감의 개선으로 심리적인 결핍을 치료한 점이다. 열등 감이 자신의 외모나 자기 자신을 수용하지 못하도록 작용하는 요인이라는 점에서다. 그 다음으로 자존감 저하를 치료한 점이다. 이들의 열등감은 성형수술을 통해 일시적 인 만족감을 얻더라도, 근본적인 자존감 향상으로 이어지지 않기 때문이다. 외모에 대 한 불만은 다른 심리적 문제들과 결합되어 자존감을 더욱 저하시키는 요인이기 때문 이다. 마지막으로 불완전에 대한 두려움을 치료한 점이다. 불완전에 대한 두려움은 자 신의 부족함이나 결함에 대한 불안이나 두려움을 갖는 것이었다. 성인의 성형중독이 열등감과 관련되기에 열등감의 개선을 통한 치료가 필요했다. 본 연구의 목적은 성인 의 성형중독에서 열등감이 개선하거나 열등감에서 어느 정도 해방되는 것이다. 아들 러의 이론이 성인의 성형중독의 심리적인 열등감을 개선하면서 해소하는 방안으로 적 용하게 된 이유이다.
