The purpose of this study is to examine the usage patterns of genitive noun phrases by Thai beginner learners of Korean, with a focus on word order. The genitive noun phrases were categorized into three types: noun combination constructions, determiner combination constructions, and adnominal clause combination constructions. The learners' spoken responses to controlled questions were collected through 1:1 interviews and analyzed. The results revealed that word order errors were most prominent in noun combination constructions. In determiner combination constructions, word order errors occurred only in the case of determiner-prefix combinations. As for adnominal clause combination constructions, error patterns varied depending on the sentence structure. However, more errors were attributed to a lack of understanding of cleft sentence structures rather than word order issues. These findings confirm that the degree of influence of word order differs according to the type of construction when using genitive noun phrases.

본 연구의 목적은 태국인 초급 학습자의 관형 명사구 사용 양상을 어 순 중심으로 살피는 것이다. 이를 위해 관형 명사구를 ‘명사 결합 구성, 관형사 결합 구성, 관형절 결합 구성’으로 나누어 구체적인 사용 양상 을 살펴보았다. 1:1 인터뷰 방식을 통해 통제된 질문에 대한 학습자들 의 응답 발화를 수집하여 분석한 결과에 따르면, 세 가지 유형 중 명사 결합 구성에서 어순 오류가 가장 두드러졌다. 관형사 결합 구성에서는 성상 관형사 결합 구성에서만 어순 오류가 나타났다. 관형절 결합 구 성의 경우 문장 구조에 따라 오류 양상도 상이하게 나타났으나 어순 오류보다는 분열문 구조에 대한 이해 부족이 원인으로 추측되는 오류 가 더 많았다. 이를 통해, 관형 명사구 사용 시 각 구성에 따라 어순이 미치는 영향의 정도가 다름을 확인하였다.
