This study was carried out to present academic and practical strategies for Jeju night tourism by analyzing importance-satisfaction based on the elements of the night tourism selection properties for the purpose of revitalizing Jeju night tourism. The subjects of this study were 248 tourists who visited night tourist attractions in Jeju Island, and analysis was conducted on the importance of night tourism selection attributes and satisfaction level after direct experience. In addition, more specific and diverse implications were delivered through comparison by gender. The research method was used for SPSS 25.0 statistical program, and frequency analysis was performed for analysis of demographic characteristics and general characteristics of the survey. Next, a comparative analysis between importance and satisfaction was performed using the traditional IPA of Martilla & James (1977). Lastly, differences in IPA analysis according to gender were also verified. Through this study analysis, the four -fours (maintenance, concentration, low -ranking, and over -ranking) different night tourism selection properties were classified, and it was confirmed that these classifications were different depending on gender. Based on the results of this study, detailed and diverse marketing implications were proposed to revitalize night tourism in the stagnant Jeju region.

본 연구는 제주 야간관광 활성화를 위한 목적으로 야간관광 선택속성의 요소들을 토대로 중요도-만족도 분석을 통해 현재 제주 야간관광을 위한 학문적 및 실무적 전략을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구의 대상은 제주도 야간관광지를 방문한 관광객들을 248명을 대상으로 연구분석이 수행되었으며, 야간관광선택속성 항목들에 대해 중요도와 직접 경험이후 만족도에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 또한 성별에 따른 비교를 통해 보다 구체적이고 다양한 시사점을 전달하였다. 연구방법은 SPSS 25.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 조사 대상의 인구통계학 적 특성 및 일반적 특성에 대한 분석을 위해 빈도분석을 시행하였다. 다음으로 Martilla & James(1977)의 전통적 IPA를 이용하여 중요도와 만족도 간 비교분석을 수행하였다. 마지막으로 성별에 따른 IPA 분석의 차이도 검증하였다. 본 연구분석을 통하여 4사분면(유지, 집중, 저순위, 과잉)별 다양한 야간관광 선택속성 요소들을 분류하였으며, 이러한 분류가 성별에 따른 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 침체하여 있는 제주지역 야간관광 활성화를 위한 세부적이고 다양한 마케팅적 시사점을 제안하였다.
