This study aims to determine the relative importance of attributes of youth soccer club coaches as perceived by parents and to explore the relative importance of these attributes based on the programs their children belong to. The research was conducted using conjoint analysis on parents who have currently registered their children in youth soccer clubs. The results were as follows. First, entire parents perceive 'coaching expertise,' specifically 'having a background as a soccer player,' as the most important attribute, followed by 'communication skills,' particularly 'sharing information with parents and athletes,' 'coach attitude,' notably 'friendly behavior,' and 'leadership style,' specifically 'motivational leadership.' Second, parents whose children are in recreational classes recognized the importance of coaching expertise, communication skills, coach attitude, and leadership style in the same order as the overall group. However, the importance placed on coaching expertise was relatively lower, while the importance of communication skills, coach attitude, and leadership style is rated higher compared to the overall group. Finally, parents of children in competitive training programs also recognized the importance of coaching expertise and communication skills in the same order as the overall group and parents of recreational classes. However, unlike the overall group and recreational class parents, parents of competitive training program children prioritize leadership style over coach attitude, indicating a notable difference.

본 연구는 학부모들이 인식하는 유소년 축구클럽 지도자 속성의 상대적 중요도를 파악하고, 자녀들의 소속 과정에 따른 지도자 속성의 상대적 중요도를 탐색하였다. 현재 자녀를 유소년 축구클럽에 등록한 학부모를 대상으로 컨조인트 분석을 적용하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 전체 학부모들은 지도자 전문성, 의사소통 능력, 지도자 리더십, 지도자 태도 중에서 '지도자의 전문성' 중 '축구선수 출신'을 가장 중요하게 인식하였으며, 다음으로 '의사소통 능력' 중 '학부모와 운동성과 공유', '지도자 태도' 중 '친절한 언행', '지도자 리더십' 중 '동기부여 리더십'의 순으로 중요도를 인식 하였다. 둘째, 취미반에 자녀가 속한 학부모들은 전체 학부모와 마찬가지로 지도자의 전문성, 의사소통 능력, 지도자 태 도, 지도자 리더십의 순서로 속성의 중요도를 인식하였다. 그러나 지도자 전문성에 대한 중요도는 상대적으로 낮아졌고, 의사소통 능력, 지도자 태도, 지도자 리더십의 중요도는 전체 학부모에 비해 높게 평가되었다. 마지막으로, 선수 육성반 자녀의 학부모들은 전체 학부모와 취미반 학부모와 마찬가지로 지도자 전문성과 의사소통 능력의 중요도를 순서대로 인식하였으나, 전체 학부모와 취미반 학부모와는 달리, 선수 육성반 학부모는 지도자 태도보다 지도자 리더십에 더 높은 우선 순위를 부여하는 차이를 보였다.
