The current study purported to investigate the impact of instructor image on class satisfaction and recommendation intention among students enrolled in university liberal arts Taekwondo courses, and to identify the mediating effect of class satisfaction in the relationship between instructor image and recommendation intention. To achieve this, a survey was conducted among students of liberal arts Taekwondo courses at four universities located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed, and 198 responses (99.0%) were used for the final analysis, excluding 2 responses deemed unreliable due to bulk processing or non-response. Data were processed utilizing SPSS and AMOS 23.0 statistical programs, and descriptive analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling (SEM) were performed. The results of the study are as follows: the instructor image perceived by students of university liberal arts Taekwondo courses had a positive impact on class satisfaction and recommendation intention. Additionally, class satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between instructor image and recommendation intention. In conclusion, the more positively students perceived the instructor image, the higher their class satisfaction and the greater their recommendation intention for the Taekwondo courses and the instructors to others.

본 연구의 목적은 대학 교양 태권도 수업 수강생을 대상으로 지도자 이미지가 수업만족 및 추천의도에 미치는 영향 을 조사하고, 지도자 이미지와 추천의도의 관계에서 수업만족의 매개효과를 규명하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도 지역의 4개 대학 교양태권도 수강생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 200부의 설문이 배포되었고, 응답의 신뢰성 이 떨어진다고 판단된 2부를 제외한 198부(99.0%)가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 자료처리는 SPSS와 AMOS 23.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관분석 및 구조방정식모형(SEM) 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결 과, 대학 교양태권도수업 수강생이 인식하는 지도자 이미지는 수업만족과 추천의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 지도자 이미지와 추천의도의 관계에서 수업만족은 매개효과를 나타냈다. 결론적으로, 대학 교양 태권도 수업 수강생들이 지도자 이미지를 긍정적으로 인식할수록 수업만족도가 높아지고, 타인에게 해당 수업을 추천할 의도도 증가하는 경향을 보였다.
