The purpose of this study is to analyze the responses and meaningful information extracted from various Taekwondo-related issues and media articles that emerged after the COVID-19 endemic, using big data analysis methods. To achieve this, the study set the period from May 1, 2022, when the endemic was declared in South Korea, to August 6, 2024, approximately 2 years and 3 months. During this period, a total of 4,877 Taekwondo-related news articles were collected from 11 national daily newspapers and 5 broadcasting companies through the Big Kinds news search service provided by the Korea Press Foundation. The data was processed using Textom and Ucinet 6.0, and frequency analysis, TF-IDF, degree centrality analysis, semantic network analysis, and CONCOR analysis were conducted. The results of the analysis classified the data into four clusters: the Paris Olympics, the Hangzhou Asian Games, Taekwondo festivals, and world championships. Based on these findings, the study identified key issues related to Taekwondo and provided insights and suggestions for the sustainable development of Taekwondo.

본 연구는 코로나19 엔데믹 이후 파생된 다양한 태권도 관련 이슈와 기사 등의 미디어 자료를 빅데이터 분석방법 을 통해 추출된 반응과 그 유의미한 정보를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국언론진흥재단의 빅카인즈(Big Kinds)가 제공하는 뉴스검색에서 국내 엔데믹을 선언한 2022년 5월 1일부터 2024년 8월 6일까지 약 2년 3개월의 기간 을 설정하였으며, 전국 일간지 11개, 방송사 5개의 뉴스 기사 총 4,877건 대상으로 태권도 관련 언론 보도자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 자료처리를 위해 Textom과 Ucinet 6.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, TF-IDF, 연결중심성 분석, 의미연결망 분 석, CONCOR 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 파리 올림픽, 항저우 아시안게임, 태권도 축제 진행, 세계대회 개최 등의 4개 군집으로 분류되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 태권도 관련 이슈를 파악할 수 있었으며 지속가능한 태권도의 발전을 위해 시사점 및 제언을 제시하였다.
