This study analyzes the importance and satisfaction of the service quality of marine sports events and provides basic data that can help the local economy and various operational strategies that need to be improved first in holding events. To this end, participants in the marine sports event held in P city were selected as the population, and the final 199 data were analyzed by the convenience sampling method. As for the data processing method, 199 copies were finally selected as the final valid sample to confirm the results in this study, coded with Excel(2024), and then verified the research hypothesis according to the purpose of the study by using IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0 Ver. and Amos 29.0 Ver., which are statistical programs, respectively. The verification results are as follows. First, interaction and physical environmental factors ranked high in importance and satisfaction among the service quality of marine sports events. Second, as a result of analyzing the differences in the importance and satisfaction of service quality, there were significant differences in program level well equipped equipment, easy to get guide information for promotion of related goods and programs, convenient information signs, sufficient advance promotion, sufficient parking facilities in the physical environment, convenient toilet use, and accessibility. Third, IPA analysis of service quality showed that items that need immediate improvement required equipment and related supplies, so there should be no inconvenience in participating in the pre-program operation with sufficient equipment and related supplies, and more effort will be needed to secure space or alternative spaces in parking facilities.

이 연구는 해양스포츠이벤트의 서비스품질에 대한 중요도 및 만족도를 분석하여 이벤트를 개최함에 있어, 우선적 으로 개선이 필요한 다양한 운영전략과 지역 경제를 위해 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 P 시에서 개최된 해양스포츠이벤트에 참여한 참여자를 모집단으로 선정하였으며, 편의표본추출법으로 최종 199명 의 자료를 분석하였다. 자료처리 방법은 이 연구에서는 결과를 확인하기 위하여 최종 유효 표본으로 199부를 최종 선정하 여 Excel(2024)로 코딩한 후, 통계프로그램인 IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0 Ver, Amos 29.0 Ver. 을 각각 활용하여 연구 목적에 따라 연구가설을 검증하였다. 검증 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 해양스포츠이벤트의 서비스품질 중 상호작용과 물리적 환경 요인들이 중요도와 만족도에 높은 순위를 차지하였다. 둘째 서비스품질에 대한 중요도 및 만족도의 차이를 분석한 결과, 프로그램 수준의 잘 갖춰진 장비와 관련 용품과 프로그램 홍보의 얻기 쉬운 안내 정보, 편리한 안내표지판, 충분한 사전홍보 그리고 물리적 환경의 충분한 주차시설, 편리한 화장실 이용, 접근성에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 서비스품질에 대한 IPA 분석 결과 즉시 개선이 필요한 항목으로는 장비 및 관련 용품 구비, 충분한 주차시 설 등이 요구됨으로 사전 프로그램 운영에 있어 충분한 장비 및 관련 용품을 구비하여 참여에 불편함이 없어야 될 것이고, 주차시설의 공간이나 대체 공간 등을 확보하는데 보다 더 많은 노력이 필요할 것이다.
