The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of organizational members’ perceptions of organizational culture and promotive psychological ownership on their intention to comply with security policies, and to explore ways to improve security policy compliance intention. To this end, this study used four types of organizational culture-clan, innovation, hierarchy, and market-based on the Competing Values Framework. Data for this study were collected through a survey and analyzed using the hierarchical component model of structural equation modeling. As a result, the higher organizational members’ awareness of clan culture or hierarchy culture, the higher their promotive psychological ownership and security policy compliance intention. In addition, it was confirmed that promotive psychological ownership played a mediating role between clan and hierarchy culture and security policy compliance intention. This study is significant in that it provides an opportunity to recognize that organizational members’ promotive psychological ownership can be effectively utilized to improve security policy compliance. The analysis results and various practical implications discussed in this study are expected to provide useful information and insight in establishing strategies to increase organizational members' security policy compliance intention in the future.

본 연구의 목적은 조직구성원들이 가지고 있는 조직문화 인식과 향상적 주인의식이 보 안정책 준수의도 미치는 영향을 분석하여 보안정책 준수의도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안들 을 모색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해, 본 연구에서는 경쟁가치모형에 기반한 관계, 혁신, 위계, 과업과 같은 네 가지 조직문화 유형을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 데이터는 설문조사를 통해 수집되었으며, 구조방정식모형의 위계적성분모형을 사용하여 분석되었다. 그 결과, 조직구 성원이 관계문화나 위계문화적 인식을 높게 가질수록 향상적 주인의식과 보안정책 준수의 도가 더 높게 나타났다. 또한 향상적 주인의식이 관계문화 및 위계문화와 보안정책 준수의 도 사이에서 매개역할을 하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 보안정책 준수성과의 향 상을 위해 조직구성원들의 향상적 주인의식이 유용하게 활용될 수 있음을 인식하는 계기 를 제공했다는 점에서 의의를 가질 수 있다. 본 연구에서 논의된 분석 결과와 다양한 실무 적 시사점들은 향후 조직구성원들의 보안정책 준수의도를 제고하기 위한 전략을 수립하는 데 유용한 정보와 통찰을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
