This study explores how the video projection works of Polish-born artist Krzysztof Wodiczko contribute to contemporary social and political discourse. Wodiczko illuminates issues such as social inequality, human rights violations, war and peace, and the expression of individual voices within collective memory and history through public art and architectural projections. His works go beyond merely providing aesthetic experiences; they are significant in that they encourage audiences to reexamine social issues and engage actively. This research offers an in-depth analysis of Wodiczko’s video projections, discussing how his work shapes contemporary social and political discourse and influences audience perception and behavior. Through this analysis, the study demonstrates that contemporary art can be a powerful tool for pursuing social and political change.
