This study analyzes the transmission process of Notdari-Vapgi, an intangible cultural heritage of the Andong region, through Gilbert Simondon's theory of individuation. Notdari-Vapgi is a significant traditional game that strengthens the cultural identity of the local community and fosters intergenerational bonds, while maintaining sustainability in the face of modern societal changes. Based on literature reviews and in-depth interviews, this research explores how Notdari-Vapgi has adapted and evolved to meet contemporary demands. The findings confirm that Notdari-Vapgi has preserved its traditional values while incorporating modern elements, allowing it to be actively transmitted within the local community. In particular, the importance of intergenerational exchange and collaboration during the transmission process was highlighted, contributing to the game's establishment as a sustainable intangible heritage. This study provides new insights into resolving conflicts in the transmission of intangible cultural heritage and reinterpreting traditions within a modern context through collaboration with the local community. It is expected to contribute to the preservation and utilization of intangible cultural heritage and the cultural development of local communities.

본 연구는 안동지역의 무형유산인 놋다리밟기의 전승 과정을 질베르 시몽동의 개체화 이론을 통해 분석하였다. 놋다리밟기는 지역공동체의 문화적 정체성을 강화하고, 세대 간 유대감을 형성하는 전통 놀이로, 현대 사회의 변화 속에서도 지속가능성을 유지하고 있다. 본 연구는 문 헌 연구와 심층 인터뷰를 바탕으로 놋다리밟기가 어떻게 현대적 요구 에 적응하며 발전하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 놋다리밟기는 전통적 가치를 유지하면서도 현대적 요소를 수용해 지역 사회에서 활 발하게 전승되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 전승 과정에서 세대 간 교류와 협력의 중요성이 강조되었으며, 이는 놀이가 지속 가능한 무형 유산으로 자리하는 데 기여하고 있다. 본 연구는 무형유산의 전승 과정 에서 발생하는 갈등을 해결하고, 지역 사회와의 협력을 통해 전통을 현 대적 맥락에서 재해석할 수 있는 새로운 통찰을 제공한다. 이를 통해 무형유산의 보존과 활용, 그리고 지역공동체의 문화적 발전에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.
