In this study, the leaves and stems of kudzu vine were naturally dried and then extracted with ethanol to measure their physiological activity to confirm their potential use as cosmetic materials. The total polyphenol content of the leaf and stem extracts of Kudzu vine was 221.15μg/mL for the leaf extract and 154.71μg/mL for the stem extract, and the total flavonoid content was 109.16μg/mL for the leaf extract and 90.16μg/mL for the stem extract. The content of μg/mL was confirmed. As a result of measuring the electron donating ability of the leaf and stem extract of kudzu vine at a concentration of 31.3 to 500μg/mL, the leaf extract was confirmed to have a scavenging ability of 15.21 to 83.14%, and the stem extract was confirmed to have a scavenging ability of 8.27 to 65.26%. As a result of measuring ABTS radical scavenging activity, the leaf extract was confirmed to have a scavenging activity of 22.24~85.62%, and the stem extract was confirmed to have a scavenging activity of 15.63~75.22%. As a result of measuring SOD-like activity, leaf extract was confirmed to be 8.42 to 61.15%, and stem extract was found to be 4.23 to 52.62%. As a result of measuring the Tyrosinase inhibition effect to measure the whitening effect, the leaf extract was confirmed to have an inhibitory effect of 11.24 to 59.51%, and the stem extract was confirmed to have an inhibitory effect of 8.65 to 52.15%. As a result of measuring the elastase inhibitory effect, the leaf extract was confirmed to have an inhibitory effect of 13.24~57.75%, and the stem extract was confirmed to have an inhibitory effect of 9.13~45.13%. As a result of the above research, it was confirmed that the leaf and stem extract of kudzu vine has the potential to be used as a cosmetic material.

SOD 유사활성을 측정한 결과, 잎 추출물은 8.42,~61.15%가 확인되었으며, 줄기 추출물은 4.23~52.62% 가 확인되었다. 미백효과를 측정하기 위해 Tyrosinase 저해효과를 측정한 결과, 잎 추출물 11.24~59.51%의 저해효과가 확인되었고, 줄기 추출물은 8.65~52.15%의 저해 효과가 확인되었다. Elastase 저해효과를 측정한 결과, 잎 추출물은 13.24,~57.75%의 저해효과가 확인되었고, 줄기 추출물은 9.13,~45.13%의 저해효과가 확인되었 다. 이상의 연구 결과, 칡 덩굴의 잎과 줄기 추출물은 화장품 소재 가능성이 확인되었다.
