Maegok Oh Yoon-hwan left a variety of works, including Maegok Ilgi. Maegok Ilgi, Hakjeong Architecture Ilgi, and Deungjeong Ilrok are diary records. These records, donated by Oh Yoon-hwan's descendants to Sokcho City and held by the Sokcho City Museum, are also valuable primary historical records that show the appearance of the time in the northern part of Yeongdong where Oh Yoon-hwan lived. Maegok Ilgi is a 56-year record and consists of three volumes in total. It is a 56-year historical heritage written from February 1891 to July 11, 1946, just before Oh Yoon-hwan died. The Hakjeong Architecture Ilrok and Deungjeong Ilrok are heritages that record the construction process of traditional buildings built in the 1930s and the personal information of visitors to Hakmujeong. Hakmujeong is a key place that contains the spiritual heritage of Sangdomun-ri. The Hakjeong Architecture Diary contains the process of building Hakmujeong, an important architectural and cultural heritage in Sokcho. The Deungjeong Ilrok recorded the people who visited this place after the establishment of Hakmujeong. The Hakjeong Architecture Ilrok is not a record written every day, but it falls into the category of diary in that it records daily life with a specific topic and purpose. The Hakjeong Architecture Ilrok is an important cultural heritage in which records exist together with the real thing by recording the process of building a traditional building built by patriotic architects in the 1930s. The Deungjeong Ilrok records the history of people coming from all over the country who have friendly relations with Oh Yoon-hwan.
