This study aims to investigate the future preference values of Koreans in the field of advanced science and technology culture, identify policy issues, and provide crucial data for the development of related policies. To achieve this, an integrative literature review was conducted to develop indicators for assessing the future preference values of Koreans in the field of advanced science and technology culture. The study focused on the value systems of young generations, securing 400 participants from teenagers and individuals in their twenties, with 200 participants from each group. Additionally, data were collected from 100 participants in each of the age groups in their thirties, forties, fifties, and over sixty, totaling 800 participants. The results indicate that Koreans perceive advanced science and technology as key factors for enhancing quality of life and values. They expect the government to play a leading role in implementing policies related to science and technology. Furthermore, while there is a current preference for controlling the use of AI and big data, it is anticipated that there will be a positive acceptance of their advanced applications by 2050. Koreans also believe that the implementation of innovation policies in the field of science and technology should be driven by societal demands rather than solely by the government. The study reveals that Koreans expect advanced science and technology to bring about significant improvements in quality of life, economic development, cultural enhancement, public health, and various other aspects. There is a high level of expectation regarding the value and functions of advanced science and technology. These findings provide important insights for the development of science and technology culture policies and can serve as foundational data for contributing to the overall development of Korean society.

본 연구는 한국인의 첨단과학기술문화 분야에 대한 미래 선호가치를 조사하여, 이를 통해 정책 이슈를 발굴하고 첨단과학기술문화 정책 개발 및 관련 정책에 중요한 데이 터를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 통합적 문헌고찰을 통해 한국인의 미래 첨단과학기술문화 분야 선호가치를 조사할 수 있는 지표를 개발하였다. 본 연구목적의 효율적인 달성을 위해 청소년과 20대의 가치관에 중점을 두기 위해 200명씩 총 400명 을 확보하였으며, 30대, 40대, 50대, 60대 이상 집단별로 각각 100명씩 총 800명의 자 료를 수집하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 한국인은 첨단과학기술이 삶의 질과 가치 를 향상시키는 중요한 요소로 인식하고 있으며, 첨단과학기술정책의 실현 주체로서 정 부의 주도적 역할을 기대하고 있었다. 또한 첨단과학기술의 활용에 대해 현재는 통제 를 선호하지만, 중장기적인 관점에서는 고도화된 기술의 확산을 긍정적으로 받아들이 는 경향을 보였다. 미래 과학기술 분야 혁신정책의 실현 주체로서 정부보다는 사회구 성원의 수요에 따른 실현이 중요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 한국인은 첨단과학기술이 전 반적인 삶의 질 향상, 경제 발전, 문화 수준 향상, 국민 건강 증진 등 다양한 측면에서 긍정적인 변화를 가져올 것으로 기대하고 있으며, 첨단과학기술의 가치와 기능에 대해 높은 기대감을 가지고 있었다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 첨단과학기술문화 정책 개발에 중요한 시사점을 제공하며, 한국 사회의 전반적인 발전에 기여할 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
