This study used language network analysis to examine research trends in the Korean Journal of National Security and Public Safety and collected 430 keywords from 86 papers published in the Korean Journal of National Security and Public Safety from 2015 to 2024. The collected data went through a data purification process and coding to remove symbols, numbers, English letters, special characters, mixed words, etc. to construct a DTM(Document-Term-Matrix). Through network analysis, betweenness centrality and betweenness centrality were derived and network analysis was performed and visualized. As a result of the study, the areas of national security and public safety were divided into two categories, and research tended to be conducted in an independent manner. In addition, studies were conducted on a variety of topics and methods, including safety, terrorism, security, security, and police, even within the comprehensive categories of national security and public safety. Therefore, when looking at the direction of future research and the establishment of academic identity, it is necessary to conduct convergence research suitable for national security and public safety by setting a clear scope and field for the research direction.

본 연구는 언어네트워크 분석을 활용하여 한국국가안보국민안전학회지의 연구동향을 살펴보고자 한국국가안보국민안전학회지의 2015년부터 2023년까지 게재된 논문 86편을 대상으로 주제어 430개를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료를 대상으로 데이터 정제 과정을 거쳐 기호, 숫자, 영문, 특수문자, 혼용어 등을 제거하는 등의 코딩작업을 거쳐 DTM(Document-Term-Matrix)행렬을 구성하였다. 이 를 네트워크 분석을 통해 연결중심성과 매개중심성을 도출하고 연결망 분석을 실시하여 시각화하였다. 연구결과, 국가안보와 국민안전의 영역에서 두 분류로 구분되어 연구가 각각 독립된 형 태로 진행되고 있는 경향을 보이고 있었다. 또한, 국가안보와 국민안전의 대분류 성격의 포괄적인 주제안에서도 안전, 테러, 경호·경비, 보안, 경찰 등 다양한 주제와 방법으로 연 구들이 진행되었다. 따라서, 향후 연구방향의 방향성과 학문의 정체성 확립을 볼 때, 연구 방향에 대한 명확한 범위와 분야설정을 통하여 국가안보와 국민안전에 적합한 융·복합연 구가 진행될 필요가 있다.
