The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of self-development of the elderly on the life satisfaction of the elderly. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a survey was conducted on the elderly over 65 years of age who are self-developing at the Community Center in Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk. 228 copies of the questionnaire were used for analysis. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS statistics 29.0 program.The research results are as follows. First, it was found that the self-development of the elderly had a significant effect on the life satisfaction of the elderly. Second, it was found that the elderly's self-development had a significant effect on psychological well-being. Third, psychological well-being have a mediating effect on the relationship between the elderly's self-development and life satisfaction. From the above results, it was confirmed that the elderly's self-development acts as an important variable affecting life satisfaction through psychological well-being.

본 연구는 노인의 자기계발이 노인의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이 목적이다. 연구의 목적 을 달성하기 위하여 충북지역의 주민자치센터에서 자기계발을 하고 있는 65세 이상 노인들을 대상으로 설문조사 를 실시하였다. 설문지는 215부를 분석에 활용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS statistics 29.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 자기계발이 노인의 삶의 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인의 자기계발이 심리적 안녕감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 심리적 안녕 감은 노인의 자기계발과 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 매개효과를 보였다. 이상의 결과에서 노인의 자기계발이 심리 적 안녕감을 매개로 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변인으로 작용함을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바 탕으로 노인의 삶의 만족을 위한 심리적안녕감 증진과 자기계발의 지지체계 구축을 위한 노인복지적 차원의 실증 적 자료 제공을 하고자 한다.
