This study explores how the skills of IT volunteers play a crucial role in IT volunteer program success, focusing on the World Friends Korea(WFK) IT Volunteers Program. This study analyzes data from IT volunteer projects in six countries to see how well volunteers are prepared, how closely they follow the project plans, how effective their feedback is, and how difficult the programs are. These factors are related to how satisfied the beneficiaries are, how much they learn, and their willingness to continue participating. The results show a clear link between these factors and the success of the projects, underlining the importance of volunteer skills in making a real difference. This research helps us better understand IT volunteering in development work and provides ideas on how to make volunteer programs more effective and improve volunteer training.

본 연구는 디지털 격차 해소를 위해 2001년부터 세계 각지로 파견하고 있는 WFK IT봉사단(이하 IT봉사단) 활동의 중요성을 조명하고, WFK　IT봉사단원의 역량이 사업성과에 미치는 영향을 심층적 으로 분석하였다. 특히,　IT봉사단 사업을 사례로 하여, 봉사단원의 수업 준비도, 수업 충실성, 피드 백의 효과성, 프로그램의 난이도가 현지 수혜자들의 만족도나 개개인의 지식수준 향상, 재참여 의지 등에 미치는 영향을 회귀분석을 통해 측정하였다. 연구 결과, IT봉사단원의 역량은 봉사단 활동 성공 에 있어 중요한 영향을 미치며, 이는 봉사활동 프로그램 설계와 봉사단원 역량 개발을 위한 사전 교 육의 중요성을 강조한다. 본 논문은 IT관련 ODA분야에서 봉사활동 성공을 위해 봉사단원의 역할과 단원 역량 개발 필요성을 이해하는데 중요한 시사점을 제공한다.
